The research and development work carried out within the Department has resulted in the creation of a number of spin-off companies. These include:
– UAVS Poland which is a manufacturer of unmanned flying units equipped with optical and measuring systems.
– RIOT Technologies commercialises research results in the field of mobile robotics and mechatronics, in particular solutions in the area of autonomous mobile robots and platforms.
– MONIT SHM implementing research and industrial projects related to non-destructive testing, structural health monitoring and quality control.
– Enetech sp. z o. o. which deals with the use of piezoelectric materials in vibration damping, waste heat recovery and photovoltaics.
– Reliability Solutions the company's mission is to transfer knowledge and modern solutions in the field of machine maintenance from the sphere of science to industry.
– ReLearn activities are based on the transfer of know-how and solutions based on artificial intelligence to industry - with a particular focus on monitoring industrial processes, machines and structures.
